1. Description of Service
DigestIt provides automated email summarization. Users may forward emails to a designated DigestIt email address, and the Service may generate summarized versions of those emails.
The Service may change, evolve, or be discontinued at any time.
We make no guarantee regarding:
- accuracy
- completeness
- delivery timing
- reliability
- availability
- preservation of content
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- you have the legal right to send the emails you forward
- you are not violating any law, confidentiality obligation, or agreement
- you have obtained any necessary consent from third parties
You are solely responsible for all content submitted to the Service.
3. User Content
Users may submit content to the Service by forwarding or sending emails ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your content.
However, by submitting content, you grant DigestIt a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to:
- process
- store
- analyze
- reproduce
- transform
- generate summaries
- improve and operate the Service
This license survives termination for operational and archival purposes.
4. No Confidentiality Guarantee
DigestIt does not guarantee confidentiality of any email forwarded to the Service.
Users should not submit highly sensitive information, including but not limited to:
- financial credentials
- passwords
- medical records
- trade secrets
- protected legal communications
Use the Service at your own risk.
5. Automated Processing
The Service may process emails using automated systems, including machine learning systems or third-party infrastructure.
Summaries may contain:
- inaccuracies
- omissions
- misinterpretations
DigestIt is not responsible for decisions made based on summaries.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law
- process illegal or abusive material
- distribute malware or phishing content
- interfere with the operation of the Service
- attempt to reverse engineer the Service
- send excessive or abusive volumes of email
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for any reason.
7. Service Availability
DigestIt provides the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
We do not guarantee:
- uptime
- uninterrupted delivery
- daily summaries
- specific delivery times
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on third-party providers including:
- email infrastructure
- cloud hosting
- artificial intelligence services
DigestIt is not responsible for outages, errors, or actions of these third parties.
9. No Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DigestIt disclaims all warranties, including:
- merchantability
- fitness for a particular purpose
- non-infringement
- reliability
- data preservation
- accuracy of summaries
The Service is provided without guarantees of any kind.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigestIt and its operators shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages
- incidental damages
- consequential damages
- lost profits
- loss of data
- loss of business
- reliance on generated summaries
Even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
If, despite the above, we are found liable for anything, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the total amount you paid us in the last 30 days.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DigestIt and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- your use of the Service
- emails you submit
- violation of these Terms
- violation of law or third-party rights
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
Upon termination:
- access may immediately stop
- stored emails or summaries may be deleted
We have no obligation to maintain or return data.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, not court proceedings.
Users waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and DigestIt regarding the Service.
